Firstly, on Wednesday 10th February at 10am, I am going to set up a Maple Class group call on TEAMS. This will be a 30 minute call to give us the chance to catch up with each other, do a few fun activities and see how everyone is getting on! I hope you are as excited I as am to see you all. I will send a link to the call on Wednesday morning so look out for this next week. I hope this is something you look forward to and you will join in the call.
It will be great to see you all!

Topic- Ancient Egyptians and Mummification
Go through the Power Point below and read about the mummification process.
Please answer the 3 questions below and complete the worksheet.
Why did the Ancient Egyptians mummify bodies?
What is Natron, and what did natron do to the bodies?
How long did the mummification process take to do?
Just for fun!
Once you have finished, I have added an information sheet about how to mummify fruit! You can have a go at the this and see what the process was like for the Ancient Egyptians (It probably won't be a gruesome!).
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
