We have lots to look forward to this term! This term, our curriculum will have a Science and an Art focus. In science we will be learning about the different parts of a plant and what plants and trees need to grow and stay healthy. Excitingly, this links in with our school trip to Perlethrope where we will spend the day exploring the wonderful outdoors and taking part in team-building activities.
In Art, the children will be using viewfinders to do observational drawings and show perspective. We know amazing artwork will be created!
In English, we are focusing on writing a story with really exciting openings and endings! The children will write a story about an animal coming tea and show case their amazing ideas and imagination! We will be focusing on the book ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’ by Judith Kerr to help us generate exciting ideas for our stories.
More exciting news!
Mrs Naylor has entered Elm class into the Newstead Garden competition.
The children and Mrs Naylor have worked incredibly hard and have created an amazing 'Grandma's Cottage' from The Little Red Riding Hood. We are so proud!
