Hi! Today is the 3rd day of home learning. You will find everything you need on this page and I know you will try really hard to complete the tasks. Enjoy and have fun learning.
Use your Class Dojo pupil profile to submit your tasks when you have finished. I will add Dojo points to your profile for all work completed and I will share examples on our class page.

Choose Addition, Bonds to make 10. Try to remember our 10 bond rhyme to help you.
Number Bond Rhyme - 5 add 5 add up to 10, 6 and 4 makes it again, 7 and 3 will also do, look look look for 8 and 2, 9 and 1 zero and ten make the number bonds to ten.
Add mentally or use a written method if needed.

Today we will be looking at the words - more/fewer/same or equal
Set up a teddies bear picnic. Share some treats with your teddies.
Who has more? Who has fewer? Can you share them equally so everyone gets the same number.

Collect 10 objects (10 bottle tops) put them in a bag. Put your hand in the bag and take some bottle tops out. Write the number sentences in your book.
for example - I take out 2 bottle tops - 2 + ? = 10 How many bottle tops are left in the bag?
Remember to sing your number bond song.

How quickly can you write them? Remember your pencil grip and where we start writing each letter. Use the guide in your book to help.
Listen to the adult - they will say a word - you write down the initial sound it makes. You have to listen carefully.

You must read a book every day, just as we do in school. We do this before lunch but you can do it whenever you like! An adult must sign your diary to show this has taken place. You can of course read some of your own books at home to supplement reading. It would be great if this could be recorded in your diary too.
