Today's activities will be a little different today as it's World Book day! There will be no work set in Teams as today's focus is on enjoying books and stories. Below are lots of activities to keep you busy. I would love to see what you get up to so feel free to send me any photos.

World Book day is about celebrating books, stories and a love of reading. As we are going to work on traditional tales when we return to school next week, I thought that we could enjoy one of my favourite traditional tales today which is........

Activity 1

Activity 2 - Make up a new ending to the story.
I've never liked the ending to this story. Could you make up a new 'happy' ending? Imagine the Gingerbread man gets safely across the river somehow and through the woods on the other side. What happens next? How does the story end? Here are some settings to fire up your imagination. Write or draw your ending and tell someone as a story teller! You could even turn it into a mini book.
