Activities of the day.

Hi! Today is Day 2 (Tuesday) of week 4 of home learning. You will find everything you need on this page and I know you will try really hard to complete the tasks. Each activity should last for approximately 15 minutes spread throughout the day, with lots of time in-between to self-initiate your own play. Enjoy and have fun learning.

Use your Class Dojo pupil profile/ Year 1 Teams to submit your tasks when you have finished. I will add Dojo points to your profile for all work completed and I will share examples on our Class Dojo page.

Reading 

Use your Rising Star login to read your online reading book. At the end of the book talk about the comprehension questions on the last page. Remember to talk in full sentences when giving your answer - an adult can model this with you. At the end of the week - complete the quiz and get your reward star.

Fine Motor - Whole Hand

Developing hand muscles is important for grasping actions and finger movements. This development can be seen even in babies as they learn to grasp different shaped objects and transferring objects from hand to hand and hand to mouth.

Activities include:

• Using a spray bottle to water plants/paint
• Playdoh, rolling the playdoh, using cutter etc.
