Maths
Have a go at BMBT, the 5 in 5 and then complete the Arithmetic.
Spelling
Have a little look through the spelling list and see if you can spell them all.
Which ones do you struggle with? There will be at least one that is tricky for you!
Practise these words using Look Say Cover Write Check.
Class Meeting
This will appear in your calendar on the bar on the left hand side under the assignments tab.
If you go into your calendar you will see a little blue tab staying 'Oak Class Meeting' and it will give you the option to join.
If you are using a tablet you also click the calendar tab, then 'details' and you will see something that also says 'Maple Class Meeting' 'Join now'.
Art
For this week's art, I would like you to search for a photograph of a landscape scene. It might be one that you have taken or it could be one that you find on the Internet.
Have a go at replicating it using whatever medium that you have or want.
If you fancy having a play digitally, perhaps you could use a drawing app or photo editing software to create something unique as well.
These are photos that I had taken on my phone at 9.00pm and I have added some colour to them.
For the final activity of the day, I would be interested to hear what you have enjoyed over the last half term, what you have struggled with, which activities you have enjoyed, which you have not enjoyed (not too many I hope)
Either email me on oak@newstead.notts.sch.uk or attach a document onto the assignment when you hand in.
Thank you all for your hard work over the last 6 weeks. Hopefully we will know more about when we can come back to school after the Half-Term holidays.
During the half-term holiday, Miss Swann and Mrs Walsh have set you all a set of challenges . I have attached it below and it will also appear on the class page.
Have a lovely holiday and I will see you at 11 for those of you who can make it.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
