Newstead Primary School and Nursery offers up to 30 hours of childcare provision for 3 and 4 year olds. Children may join the nursery the term after their third birthday.
All parents receive the universal offer of 15 hours of funded childcare provision.
For parents who think they will be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare provision, they must check this using the childcare choices website - childcarechoices.gov.uk
For children attending for 15 hours there are two options.
1) Morning sessions from 9:00am until 12 midday
2) Afternoon sessions from 12:30pm until 3:30pm
There is also the option to pay for sessions above the 15 hours at a charge of £20.00 per session.
For children attending for 30 hours the school days starts at 9:00am (gates open at 8:50am) and finishes at 3:30pm, which equates to 2 x 3 hour sessions and half an hour for lunchtime.
Lunchtime supervision will be charged at £4.00 per day. Parents will need to provide a lunch for their child.
