To log in, follow the instructions on the letter to parents on Pine Class page.

You need to complete all tasks before handing in your work.

Don't forget to use the 'hand in' function when you have finished your work.  Also look out for feedback when I return your work. 

Some work will also need to be completed in your home learning workbook.

Practice spelling and writing the words shown on the sheet in your home learning book.

Remember to write the date at the top of the page and use a ruler to underline it.

Writing 

In this lesson, we will develop reading for pleasure through book recommendations, focusing on non-fiction and poetry. We will explore the concept of genre and pupils will generate their own recommendations to share with others.

Road safety

Road safety is very important, as they are dangerous places to be if you are not careful. We all need to practice road safety to keep us and other people safe.

You could have a go at designing your own road safety poster. 

Other Activities.

• Reading – The children should be reading everyday.  Please encourage your child to read, by making it part of their daily routine and sign their reading diary when they do.  The children will be rewarded with 5 house points every time they read at least 3 times a week with an adult or older sibling.
• Spellings – The children should continue to work their way through the high-frequency words outlined in their reading diary.  
• Maths – The children could be practising their times tables everyday using Times Tables Rock Stars.
