Elm Class
Welcome to Elm Class!
Over the next few weeks, we'll be answering the question: 'How are animals classified?'
We will learn about the different types of animals there are in the world and how we can group them, according to the food they eat and their characteristics. We will also be learning about the different parts of a plant and what plants and trees need in order to stay alive and healthy.
Design and Technology
In Design and Technology, we'll be learning all about mechanisms. We'll learn how to make sliders and levers, in preparation for our Showcase Task — making an animal moving picture!
Religious Education
In Religious Education, we will learn different parables that Jesus told from the Bible and explore the morals behind these.
The children will learn a song about forgiveness, which they will perform for another class as their Showcase Task.

P.E. — Monday & Thursday
P.E. for children in Elm Class will continue to be on a Monday and Thursday this term. Please ensure your child has their P.E. kit in school and has removed all jewellery.
