Thank you to all of those of you who have joined in the posts tab on Teams to help support and encourage each other to do some of the work.
If you missed the conversation yesterday, I have set up 2 new folders in the files tab (at the top).
One is a folder for screen recordings to help you understand some of the maths that we are doing.
The other is a folder for you to add photos of work if you would like to share to help others.
You still have your own section in OneNote for work that you are proud of if you don't want to share it with the class but you are still proud of the work.
Maths
We are continuing with the decimals but we are multiplying by integers.
An integer is a number that is not a fraction - basically a whole number.
You have been multiplying by integers already, 10 100 and 1000. We are just going to use what we already know and taking it on a step further.

English
For your spelling work, write 5 sentences using -ough words that you have found or know. Remember it is spelling but we are also practising our handwriting as well.
In the main lesson we are looking at the setting of The Giant's Necklace.

Topic/Computer
Can you explain why Newstead Village exists and what would have brought people to live there in the first place and why do people live there today?
You might know some information, people at home may know something and the Internet will have some information for you to include it.
You can decide how you present it.
Paper, PowerPoint, Word - however you like.
If you do it digitally, can you please send it back to me by adding your file to the assignment.
I suspect that this will take quite a while to do including your research and then to create your work.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
