Welcome to Acorn Class!
Starting part-time is an incredibly exciting time. We are so pleased that you chose Newstead Primary and Nursery and look forward to getting to know our new children and families.
Our Foundation Stage unit is made up of children in F1 (Nursery) and F2 (Reception). We are very lucky to have a large environment that includes indoor and outdoor areas that are open and accessed throughout the day during "busy time".
Why Nursery is Great!
Self-Confidence
Children develop confidence in themselves and their own abilities as they tackle new tasks.
Social Skills
Mixing with other children is brilliant for development and making new friends.
Learning to Share
Children learn the importance of sharing toys and playing fairly and nicely together.
Independence
Nursery helps children grow as their own person and find their way in the world.

Please check our class page regularly for updates throughout the year.
Tapestry will also be used to communicate and share your child's experiences in school and at home.
