Pupil Parliament

Congratulations to those who have been elected

Wow! That was difficult!

After a lot of deliberation and tricky decisions, we have finally got our pupil parliament together.

Oakley (Pupil Prime Minister) and Darcie (Deputy Pupil Prime Minister), alongside Mr Oldfield have read through all of the applications to see who we felt would be the best pupils for the job.

We now have these members of our parliament.

If you have any suggestions or ideas, talk to the parliament and we will see what we can do to help you.

Have you applied yet?

We look forward to reading why you think you would make a good member of our Pupil Parliament.

If you haven't got an application form, speak to your class teacher or Mr Oldfield.

March 2025 Update!

Since the opening of our Pupil Parliament, our elected pupils have started to work and improve our school.

Each member of parliament has been given a member of staff to contact about the area which they are focusing on.

This has meant that pupils are already helping to make a difference in school.

From litter-picking, to improve the environment, to counting money and announcing the total in assembly of our Red Nose Day charity donation. Our Health and Safety ministers have also begun taking part in monthly health and safety learning walks with both staff and governors to check that our school is safe for our pupils and anyone entering it.

Some of our other ministers have spoken about some of the things that they would like to do and we will see how it goes soon.
