Welcome to Pine Class!
Welcome back and welcome to a new year in Pine Class! We are looking forward to an exciting and busy half-term, with lots of engaging learning opportunities across the curriculum.
Pine Class are a small group of hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic learners who enjoy supporting one another and trying their best. We work together to create a positive learning environment where everyone is encouraged to grow, succeed, and have fun.
Who were the Ancient Greeks?
The Ancient Greeks were people who lived in Greece over 2,500 years ago. They lived in independent city-states, such as Athens and Sparta, and are famous for their achievements in democracy, mathematics, science, philosophy, theatre, and the Olympic Games. Many of their ideas still influence the world today.
Exciting things we are doing this term!
Investigating magnetic and non-magnetic items. We will be exploring our school to find out what objects are magnetic.
Creating clay pots inspired by the Ancient Greeks.
Newstead Abbey art workshop will visit our school for some more exciting opportunities to work with clay.
Rehearsing our class song ready to sing to Elm class, we can't wait to welcome them with refreshments.
Let's not forget the Halloween School disco!
