Welcome to Elm Class!
We have lots to look forward to this term!
Our curriculum will have a Science focus in the first part of the term, when we will be learning all about animals and their habitats. After half-term, we will be developing our History and Geography knowledge and skills to learn all about the seaside.
The story we will be studying over the next few weeks is, 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak. We will be writing our own stories, where the main character travels from one setting to a different, magical one.`
We will continue to focus on phonics and handwriting, as a priority. We know the children work hard to practice these in school and it would be great to hear that they are doing this at home too!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
