Two miles. One school. A real challenge — together.
The TCS Mini London Marathon in Schools is a nationwide challenge that has seen over one million children take part since 2020. Each class completes two miles of activity right here on our school grounds. It is a genuine physical challenge — and crossing the finish line is something to be proud of. Every pupil earns an official certificate.
Each class heads outside together to complete the full distance. We're ready whatever the weather!
Fresh air and space to stride out!
Rain won't stop us completing our miles!
Collect your running number and wear it with pride.
Run, jog or walk — split across days if needed.
Cross the finish line and get your certificate.
Exercise is one of the most powerful things we can do for our health. When we push ourselves — even a little — our hearts and lungs get stronger, our brains work better and our mood lifts. Getting slightly out of breath is actually the goal: that's the moment our bodies are getting fitter!
Stronger heart & lungs
Better focus in class
Happier mood
Healthy habits for life
Over 50,000 runners tackle 26.2 miles through London — past Tower Bridge, along the Thames, finishing near Buckingham Palace. The vast majority run to raise money for charity. In 2025, London Marathon runners raised over £65 million for good causes — more than any other single-day sporting event in the world. When you're pushing through your two miles this week, think of them!
There is no wrong way to complete your two miles. Whether you sprint, jog steadily, or walk the whole way — you are taking on a challenge and that matters. Pupils with additional needs can take part in any way that works for them. Every child who crosses the finish line is a finisher.
